Synopsis
In the present dynamic business environment, it is not only desirable but rather essential to have effective strategic management for any kind of organisation. Right from the formulation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation, a strategy has to be in sync with the goals/actions of the business. Good strategic management requires clarity of thought, sound judgment, and the right tools.
A professional qualification in strategic management will help you learn the nuances of the discipline, empowering you to be eligible and the right fit for taking on senior/top-management roles that require general management know-how and sharp problem-solving skills. The programme will help participants develop general management and leadership capabilities to acquire a holistic view of their organisation in its environment. By analysing and understanding the problems and challenges faced by key decision-makers/top management teams, this programme helps to contribute to the development of strategists, organisation-builders, and change agents.
The programme’s key focus is on strategy formulation and implementation at the business level to create a competitive advantage. The subject matter spread across three modules will introduce the participants to several tools and frameworks to create value and involve a more practical approach through simulation exercises and projects.

Eligibility
- Educational Qualification: Diploma (10+2+3) or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (10+2+3 or 10+2+4) or 2 years’ Master’s degree or equivalent from a recognised university (UGC/AICTE/DEC/AIU/ State Government) in any discipline
- Minimum 3 years of work experience after completion of qualifying education
- Participants who fulfil the above criteria and are not working are also eligible to apply for the programme
Please note: Internships and Training Experiences will not be considered in full time work-experience
Selection Criteria
A minimum of 75% attendance is a prerequisite for the successful completion of the programme.
Course Modules
The programme will be divided into three modules:
Certificate
- Students who successfully complete the programme and fulfil all the prescribed requirements will be awarded a Certificate of Completion.
- Successful candidates will also be granted IIM Nagpur Alumni status.

** During the campus visit, participants who want to stay extra nights at IIM Nagpur campus will have to pay additional charges directly to IIM Nagpur. This shall be subject to accommodation availability at the campus for extra nights. *** Processing Fee contains ₹ 2,500 towards application fee and ₹ 12,500 towards Tuition fee. In case a participant profile is rejected by IIM Nagpur, tuition fee of ₹. 12,500 will be refunded to the participants. GST as per prevailing rate is applicable and will be collected additionally from the candidate/participant. The current GST rate is 18%. |

Pedagogy
