Synopsis
In Industry 4.0, Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSCM) is a practice that sits at the intersection of technology, strategy, logistics, and transformation. Emerging technologies have forced a rethink in the design of operations and supply chain processes and management. IIM Kashipur’s Executive Programme in Operations & Supply Chain Management (EPOSCM) is a dynamic programme aimed at introducing professionals to both theoretical models and practical expositions in the area of OSCM.
From suppliers to eventual customers, OSCM covers everything along the path on which goods travel, and as such, can make or break a business. Both operations and supply chain management add value to the business, shape the way people consume products and services, and drive economies. IIM Kashipur’s Executive Programme in Operations & Supply Chain Management (EPOSCM) is designed in a way to provide the participants with the frameworks and tools to identify, evaluate, coordinate, develop, and manage essential OSCM processes and predict future risks by spotting patterns and trends throughout the operations and supply chain network.
By employing an immersive pedagogy and robust curriculum, the programme imparts learners with contemporary knowledge and integrates design of operations strategy with tools in management sciences, information systems, supply chain networks, and other cross-functional domains. Through a hands-on learning approach, participants will be able to apply classroom learnings to solve real-world OSCM problems.

Eligibility
- Diploma (10+2+3)/bachelor’s degree or equivalent (10+2+3 or 10+2+4)/2 years’ master’s degree or equivalent/from a recognised university (UGC/AICTE/DEC/AIU/State Government) in any discipline.
- 2 years of work experience after completion of qualifying education.
- Participants who fulfil the above criteria but are not working currently are also eligible for the programme.

Participants will be selected based on their overall profile.
Course Modules
The programme content comprises the following modules.
Certificate
- Students who successfully clear the evaluation criteria along with the requisite attendance criteria will be awarded a ‘Certificate of Completion’ from IIM Kashipur.
- Students with requisite participation but unable to complete successfully will receive a ‘Certificate of Participation’.
- Successful participants will also be accorded IIM Kashipur Alumni status.

Pedagogy
- The programme will be primarily taught through a combination of class exercises, presentations, take-home exercises, simulations, and case studies.
- The course contents are organised in a way to provide the participants with an introduction to the application of content to various business aspects.
- Each participant will do a project under the guidance of one of the course faculty. Each participant will be expected to make a presentation of the project during the on-campus module.
