Course Overview

Synopsis

Digital marketing or online marketing is the promotion of product, services, and brands to engage, connect, and interact with potential customers using the internet and other forms of digital communication. This includes email, social media platforms, and web-based advertising, as well as text and multimedia messaging as a marketing channel.

The Certificate Programme in Digital Marketing & Strategy (CPDMS) is aimed at providing a comprehensive understanding of the use of digital media, social media, and mobile applications for marketing applications.

The focus of the programme is to help the participants understand the basic concepts of marketing and their application in the digital world, in-depth knowledge of all relevant applications, hands-on exposure to tools, usage of analytics to evaluate marketing efforts, and make them capable to strategise a digital marketing campaign on their own.

Eligibility

  • Diploma (10+2+3)/Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3 or 10+2+4) or its equivalent or 2 years Master’s Degree or its equivalent from institutions or universities recognised by UGC/AICTE/AIU/DEB
  • Minimum 50% aggregate marks of all years in either Diploma or Bachelors or Masters or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of work experience post completion of qualifying education

Participants who successfully meet the evaluation criteria and satisfy the requisite attendance criteria, will be awarded a ‘Certificate of Completion’.

Successful participants will also be accorded IIM Indore Executive Education Alumni status.
*The Participant will need to apply for the alumni status separately along with the necessary fee to register themselves. Current alumni membership plans are as follows:

  • 2-year membership – ₹1000 + Applicable Taxes, if any
  • Lifetime membership – ₹10,000 + Applicable Taxes, if any

  • In case of participants paying fee via NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, Cheque, DD will get a waiver of 1.5% (maximum ₹4,000) on an overall fee of ₹2,29,000. Only applicable if all payments are made through same mode
  • In case a participant profile is rejected by IIM Indore, ₹7,500 (Bank Charges ₹4,000 only for applicable cases) is refunded to candidate and ₹2,500/- of the application fee is non-refundable
  • All Fees are payable directly to TEEL
  • 18% GST will be additional as applicable

Pedagogy

  • A mix of classroom and online sessions will be used for delivering the classes
  • During the classes, there would be a mix of lectures, case studies, simulations and demonstration of tools, depending on the topic of discussion
  • In addition to attending interactive sessions, participants have to undertake online quizzes, assignments, and examinations
  • The final capstone project will give participants an opportunity to work on a real-time campaign
